For many years, The International Agency for Research on Life Outside of Our Planet has been searching for proof that life exists elsewhere in the universe. The cosmos is vast and surely, intelligent beings must have evolved in many other places. Countries around the globe have joined together in a sophisticated, scientific effort to find and identify other forms of life.
For decades, the effort to find signs of life beyond our planet have been fruitless. However, scientific advances, high powered telescopes, and radio wave listening devices have exponentially expanded our ability to scan the skies. Early studies identified radio transmission from other parts of our galaxy that were often repeating patterns. The lack of randomness seemed to imply that they were intelligent conversations, from other intelligent beings. However, no one could decode the transmissions. Many of the signals were so distant that it is entirely possible that the planets generating the conversations may no longer exist. Our team of scientists estimated that some of the signals were broadcast millions of light years in the past. It took 100 million years for the waves to reach us. Even with our anti-gravity powered spacecraft, it isn’t feasible to travel to those locations.
A giant step forward happened when we began to harness artificial intelligence. Working 10,000 times faster than the biological mind, AI could, eventually, decode many of the transmissions.
Then an absolutely astounding thing happened. The planet next to ours in the solar system suddenly began transmitting radio broadcasts. We had suspected that the environment on this planet could support life, but there were absolutely no indications of intelligent beings until we started receiving organized radio signals a few years ago. We have been pondering how to explore potential planets light years away when suddenly our closest neighbor popped into the picture. These guys are right next door. With our recent technologies we could make the trip in less than a year.
So the Agency for Research of Life, set AI on a quest to decipher the language used for the broadcasts and the entire cadre of nations organized an effort to explore the globe next door. The esteemed scientists thought that it was prudent to evaluate the planet clandestinely, at first. Let’s do a little recon to see what we are dealing with before we make our presence known to the neighbor. The use of radio transmissions seemed to indicate a somewhat advanced life form. However, we needed to assess what type of creatures we were dealing with. Are they dangerous? Bellicose or friendly? Does the planet have biological threats that could be harmful to us? Is it likely that we can coexist with whoever resides on the planet?
An expedition was assembled. Three ships would travel to planet three. They would surveil the entire planet, record all types of information and report back to the consortium of nations.
The mission was an incredible success. The explorers combed over the planet for a span of eight years. They noted a diverse array of animals. One species was very clearly dominate, however. The population of the dominate species may range into the billions. Most were gathered together in many centralized living areas, much like our living conditions. In an effort to remain largely unseen, the exploration teams avoided the heavily populated enclaves. They captured and studied the biology of hundreds of animals in remote environments, including the dominate species. All of the tested beings were returned unharmed to their original environment.
Simultaneously, Artificial Intelligence was able to decode the radio transmissions and establish the language characteristics of the most intelligent species. It appears that verbal communication for the dominate creatures has evolved into many different languages. Five or six distinct languages were used by a high percentage of the planet’s occupants. It appears that the initial radio communications chronicled the stories of individuals and families of the master species. For example, on a recurring basis, at exactly the same time of day, one radio broadcast related the experiences of George and Gracie. Amazingly, the stories all ran for approximately the same length of time. The time measurements were a little unclear, but it appears that the species may have developed a system for measuring time that coincides with either the rotation of their planet or the time required for the planet to make a complete circle of the sun. It is still unclear how all of these time sequences are structured. For example, one of the video broadcasts starts with a reference to “Howdy Doody, Time” that does not seem to coincide with any of the other time measurements.
The physical appearance of the dominate species is similar to ours. However, the creatures are approximately three times larger than us. Instead of being a robust green, their bodies are all colored in a range from beige to brown. In the later stages of our expedition, using the deciphered language data from AI, we were able to relay to the occupants of planet three that we were from planet four. We advised them that “We come in Peace”. Notwithstanding, the specimens that we studied were still very unsettled, especially when we took them onto our craft for detailed biological testing. Again, after testing, we returned them to their original environment, unharmed.
A key anthropological difference is that the residents of three seem to have adapted nicely to living conditions on the surface of their planet. Of course, many years ago, due to climatic changes, we were forced to live in a subterranean environment on planet four.
In summary, we have definitively proved that there is somewhat intelligent life in the universe other than on our planet. It is absolutely astounding that we only needed to travel to the orb one orbit closer to the sun to unequivocally validate this assumption. It will be very interesting to see what will transpire as the inhabitants and civilizations of three advance and become more interactive with what they call “the little green men from the red planet” on planet four.
